About SCII
The SCII Ecosystem
For SCII to work, it relies on an ecosystem. These various parts of the ecosystem work tightly together to achieve the goals set out by the SCII platform. The goal is to form a value chains that are closed-looped, integrative and inter-related: Forming relationships between existing entities and create new disruptive ones so that overall ecosystem is
Net Positive
Self-sustaining
Expansive and scalable
Building Social Capital
Social capital is defined as the networks of relationships among people who live and work in a particular society, enabling that society to function effectively. The first step of these SCII platforms are to define problems and opportunities to identify the people to bring together to solve such problems. These would be people such as yourself who have the talents and abilities to enact change yet lack a network to execute it. SCII seeks to bridge this gap by providing that network between shareholders, community members, and partners.
Developing Capability
The next step in SCII is to develop capacity, credibility, and capability. These can come in the form of publications, white papers, toolkits, frameworks, as well as metrics and indices. In order to create change, one must first establish themselves to be credible and capable of such change. Thus, SCII aims to reflect such competence through strategic insights.
Driving Innovation
Social innovation is driven by purpose, partnership, and accountability, in order to develop solutions that enable traditionally excluded people to participate in the economy. Once capacity, credibility, and capability have been established, designing and testing of proof-of-concepts will lead the way for driving social innovation. As a network, the SCII platform will work towards ideation and testing of possible solutions to the problems that the platform is tackling.
Creating Impact
The ultimate goal of the SCII platform is to create impact to solve the problems and opportunities defined in its initial phase. The proof-of-concepts created in the innovation phase will be developed into a concrete solution which is to enact change and create an impact. Even after the implementation of such solutions, they will be measured and continuously improved on to ensure sustainable development.
